The actors guide of Nigeria AGN revealed that the ailing nollywood legend John Okafor popularly known by his stage name ‘Mr. Ibu’ had recently undergone another leg amputation, making him lose his two legs.
Few months ago, a viral video of the nollywood legend, John Okafor was seen in circulation where he was soliciting for public prayers and financial support regarding his deteriorating health condition.
It was allegedly stated that a lot of fans, colleagues and well wisher came through for him by making individual financial donations. The donations later amounted to more than 300 million naira and was said to be enough to finance the bills of the ailing legend.
It was later gathered that the nollywood legend had undergone a foot amputation leading to the loss of one of his legs. He was seen in high spirits in a viral video where he gave assurance to his fans that despite the present challenges, that he will be back on his feet as his recovery has been catalyzed.
The legend was recently seen on video been fed and taken care of by his adopted daughter, kamsi while lying on a hospital bed. His wife was also seen feeding and taking care of him.
It was allegedly stated that the legend, John Okafor known as Mr. Ibu recently had another surgery in which his second leg amputated due his health challenge. This is done to save the life of the nollywood legend
This latest development has stirred serious reactions and worries among his loving fans and family.
Mr ibu who joined the movie industry in the 80’s is an uproarious comedian and actor whose facial expression and body gesturisation could elongate the life span of his fans, he is characterized by running, dancing and even shouting in his movies. The fans are worried that the legend may not be able to carry out this exercises without his legs in place.
Mr. Ibu had his second leg amputated and this has stirred several reactions .
